Cut-to-Length Processing Line

At our processing facility, we operate a high-capacity heavy-gauge Cut-to-Length (CTL) line designed to transform large hot rolled steel coils into precisely cut flat plates and sheets. This advanced system allows us to deliver steel in accurate dimensions, excellent flatness, and superior surface quality, meeting the diverse requirements of fabrication industries, construction companies, engineering firms, and manufacturing plants.

Our CTL line is engineered to process steel thickness ranging from 4 mm up to 16 mm with a maximum width capacity of 2000 mm, making it suitable for medium and heavy plate applications. Coil Handling and Loading

The process begins with loading steel coils using a coil handling system and coil car, which transports the heavy coils from storage to the processing line. Once positioned, the coil is mounted onto the decoiler, securely clamped and prepared for controlled unwinding.

Precision Uncoiling

The decoiler system gradually unwinds the steel coil while maintaining controlled tension throughout the process. Proper tension control is essential to ensure smooth feeding of the steel strip into the next stages of the production line without distortion.

Advanced Plate Leveling

Steel coils naturally retain a curved shape due to coil memory. The leveling system uses multiple precisely aligned rollers that apply controlled pressure, removing internal stresses and eliminating curvature to produce sheets with excellent flatness and uniformity.

Precision Measuring and Feeding

After leveling, advanced sensors and digital encoders measure the exact length of material required. Operators program the desired sheet length through the control system, allowing the machine to automatically feed the steel until the required dimension is reached with high accuracy and repeatability.

Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Cutting

Once the programmed length is reached, the steel plate is cut using a high-capacity hydraulic shear designed for heavy gauge material. Hardened blades and powerful hydraulic cylinders deliver clean, straight cuts ensuring edges remain smooth and free from burrs or distortions.

Automated Sheet Stacking

After cutting, finished plates are transferred to an automatic stacking system. The stacker arranges sheets neatly into uniform bundles, ensuring proper alignment and preventing surface damage. Once stacked, sheets are ready for packaging, storage, or direct delivery to customers.
